Electoral – Federal – Election Relations
a. Conduct election-related engagement activities including candidate questionnaires and debates, issue education projects, get-out-the-vote programs, and voter registration in a nonpartisan manner.
b. Participate and provide resources and support to ensure full communication access for Deaf taxpaying citizens, members and advocates.
c. Provide guidance and references to build well informed voters and leaders.
d. Consult election boards at the federal level to ensure accessibility and support for Deaf voters and applicants.
Electoral – State – Election Relations
a. Partner with state-by-state level representatives and provide resources and support to ensure full communication access for Deaf taxpaying citizens, members and advocates.
b. Provide guidance and recommendations to develop well informed voting citizens and leaders.
c. Tabulate and publish general statistics of active and inactive Deaf voters through a confidential, self-assessment process.
d. Consult election boards at state levels to ensure accessibility and support for Deaf voters and applicants.
Electioneering communication – Communication Affairs
a. Study and make recommendations for better communication accessibility to the targeted audience – Deaf voting citizens.
b. Conduct candidate interviews, debates and forums to promote awareness and provide uniform decisions reflecting public policies on Deaf-related issues.
c. Solicit and field questions regarding political ideas of each candidate.
d. Develop, distribute and maintain current nonpartisan, equitable political candidates’ platform analysis reports.
